Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Agent to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying customer needs and offering the right solutions from our portfolio of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging product or service presentations to potential clients, effectively explaining the benefits and value proposition.
- Negotiation & Closing Deals: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales and secure long-term business.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance metrics as set by the Sales Manager or Director.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress within the company’s CRM system.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including marketing, product, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful delivery of products/services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in wedding industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, present solutions, and close deals effectively.
- Persuasiveness & Negotiation Skills: Ability to influence customer decisions and negotiate favorable terms.
- Customer-Focused: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Results-driven with a passion for sales, achieving personal and team goals.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related technologies.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple prospects and sales opportunities simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges in the sales process and implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in wedding industry or familiarity with event planning.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, especially in English/Punjabi/Hindi/French/Spanish.
- Experience with B2B or B2C sales, depending on the role.
